If you’ve created a business profile or charity profile on Venmo, you can add photos to help enhance your profile and tell the story of your brand or organization.
What is the photo gallery for?
Once you’ve created your business or charity profile, you’ll have the opportunity to add photos to your profile.
For businesses, utilizing your photo gallery can be a great way to build interest for new customers. You can upload your favorite photos to highlight your latest products or service offerings and even create captions for each photo you add to your profile.
For charities, we invite you to add photos that illustrate the causes you help support. You can also use your photo gallery to show how your charity gets involved or tell a story about your latest fundraising efforts.
Your photo gallery is just one more way to help your profile stand out on Venmo—it’s up to you to decide what to do with it!
How can I add photos to my gallery?
To add new images to your photo gallery, you’ll first want to grant Venmo permission to access your camera and photos (if you haven’t done so already). Here’s what’s next:
- From the Profile tab (of your business or charity profile), tap Add photo
- Select the photo you want to add or tap the camera icon to take a new picture
- If desired, add a caption to your photos – feel free to get creative!
- Tap Upload
If the upload is successful, you’ll see your photos in a new “Photo gallery” section on your business or charity profile.
How can I add or edit photo captions?
After opening your photo gallery, select the photo you want to edit and follow these steps:
- Tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner of your screen
- Select Edit caption from the popup
- Add or edit the caption as desired, then tap Done
- Tap Done again to save your caption
How can I delete photos?
After opening your photo gallery, select the photo you want to delete and follow these steps:
- Select the photo you want to delete
- Tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner of your screen
- Select Delete photo and then tap Delete to confirm
If the deletion was successful, you’ll be returned to your photo gallery and will see a confirmation message at the top of your screen.
How many photos can I add to my gallery?
At this time, you can upload a maximum of 10 photos to your business or charity profile. If you’ve already added 10 photos and want to upload a new one, you’ll first need to delete a photo from your profile.
How can I report an inappropriate photo on a Venmo business or charity profile?
We hope you don’t come across inappropriate content from other businesses or charities on Venmo, but, we’ve made it easy to file a report if needed. On the profile or photo you wish to report, tap the three dots in the right-hand corner and select the “Report” option.
You’ll then be taken to a form hosted by our parent company, PayPal. Make sure “Venmo Business Profile” is selected and fill out the form to the best of your ability. Tap Send Email when you’re finished, and we’ll take it from there.
