Why was the payment or refund I received placed on hold?
Placing payments on hold is a common industry practice that helps ensure a safer environment for users. There could be a few reasons for placing any money on hold. I know it can be concerning when money is on hold for a payment you’ve received, but remember that having a payment on hold doesn’t mean that you’ve done anything wrong.
To find out more about more details about your money on hold, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Me tab
- Select transactions
- Locate the transaction with the On-hold tag, select the transaction
In the payment details, you will be able to see the clear reasoning for why your money is on hold and if there are any actions you need to complete before the money can be released. If there are no problems with the held payments you’ve received, you’ll have the money available in your account once the hold is complete.
