What is an In-Store Offer?
In-Store Offers allow Venmo users to get special offers when using Venmo QR codes with certain merchants. You can scan an offer to store it on your Venmo account, then use it when making a purchase with that merchant.
How do I add a offer to my Venmo account?
You can use the Venmo app to scan the QR code to save the offer. To scan the code, tap the “Scan” button at the bottom of the home screen on your personal Venmo profile.
After you scan the QR code, it will be stored on your Venmo account. Go to “Settings,” then “Offers & Memberships” to see what offers are currently available to you.
If I save a coupon to my Venmo account, how do I use it?
If you save an offers to your Venmo account, it will be available in the “Offers & Membership” section of your Venmo app while it is valid. Tap on the offers to apply it while making a purchase with the merchant.
Do In-Store Offers expire?
The In-Store offers you scan will expire. Each coupon will have the offer period displayed in the Venmo app. You can tap “See terms” for more information.
I forgot to apply my offer on a purchase. What should I do?
Please reach out to the merchant for assistance. Venmo is not able to apply an offer after the purchase is complete.
My offer won’t apply to this purchase. What should I do?
If your offer won’t apply to the purchase, please make sure that the purchase meets the terms for the specific offer. Oftentimes, offers have a minimum purchase amount. You can tap “See terms” on the relevant offer for more details.
