How can I use Venmo to contribute to my friend’s registry on The Knot?
Start by visiting the registry on The Knot from your mobile device where you already have Venmo installed (you won’t see the Venmo option on a desktop web browser). Then, follow these steps:
- Select the cash fund you want to contribute to
- Enter your gift amount
- Choose Venmo as the payment method
- Complete the payment on Venmo using your linked bank, debit or credit card*, or money in your Venmo balance
Your payment will be sent directly to the couple’s linked Venmo account and will be recorded in their gift tracker on The Knot.
*Payments sent through Venmo using a credit card will incur a fee. No fees when using your Venmo balance, linked bank, or debit card. Learn about Venmo fees.
Certain bank-funded payments can take up to 5 business days to reach the recipient. We’ll let you know upfront whether this is the case for your payment. Learn about pending Venmo payments.
Can I contribute to The Knot through Venmo on my desktop computer?
Make sure you’re visiting the registry from a mobile device. If you still don’t see the option to send your gift with Venmo, contact the couple to make sure they linked their Venmo account to The Knot.
