What do I do if there's an unauthorized charge on my Venmo Debit Card?

There's an unauthorized charge on my Venmo Mastercard ® Debit Card

If you notice unauthorized activity, let us know as soon as possible. Contact our Support team for assistance, and be sure to include as much detail as possible in your request.

You should also disable your Venmo Debit Card:

  1. Go to the Venmo Debit Card section Cards tab
  2. Tap the image of your card
  3. Disable your card

If you do not have access to your app, you can call 855-204-4090 (24 hours a day 365 days a year) and deactivate your card that way. Live agents are available 9AM - 5PM CT Mon – Fri to help you file a dispute as well.
