How do I apply for the Venmo Credit Card?

What information do I need to apply for the Venmo Credit Card?
When you apply for the Venmo Credit Card, we’ll ask you for your name, email address, phone number, and residential address. We’ll also need to gather some identity information, like your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. In addition, we ask for your annual net income as a part of this process.
Do you run a credit check as a part of this application?

Should I check to see if there’s a freeze on my credit report before I apply for the Venmo Credit Card?

What is the APR? What will my credit line be?
Your APR(s) and credit limit(s) will be determined when you open your account, based on your creditworthiness and other factors. Learn about the terms and rates.
Do I need a Venmo account to apply for a Venmo Credit Card?
To apply for, use, and manage your Venmo Credit Card, you need a Venmo account that has been open for at least 30 days and is in good standing. Please note that you cannot close a Venmo account unless you have first closed your Venmo Credit Card and have paid off its balance in full.
Does it cost money to apply for the Venmo Credit Card?

Can I apply jointly with my spouse/partner?
At this time, you are unable to apply for the Venmo Credit Card with joint or authorized users. The Venmo Credit Card is not meant for multiple users.
Can I have more than one Venmo Credit Card at a time?
At this time, Venmo users can only have one Venmo Credit Card.
I applied for the Venmo Credit Card. What happens next?
If your application is approved, you will be provided some information about your credit limit(s) and APR(s). Please note: You may be given a temporary limit until your Venmo Credit Card is activated. Once your Venmo Credit Card account is opened, you can expect your card in 7-10 business days.

If your application is not approved right away, we may need to gather more information from you in order to process your application. If this happens, you’ll be notified to submit additional information in the Venmo Credit Card section of the Venmo app.

You can expect your Venmo Credit Card in 7-10 business days. In the meantime, you can use your virtual card number to shop online. Learn more about using your virtual card number here.
