Is your Venmo Mastercard® Debit Card’s expiration date coming soon? Learn how to get a new one.
I received a notification that my Venmo Debit Card is expiring soon
You'll be notified that it's time to request a replacement Venmo Debit Card within 60 days of your current card's expiration date. For example, if your card expires at the end of December, you'll be prompted to order a replacement in November. Cards expire on the last day of the expiration month.
You’ll then be able to request your new card by tapping the in-app notification or going to the Venmo Debit Card section of the Cards tab in the app.
You may be prompted to complete a transaction if you haven't used your old card. You can also update your shipping address by tapping the pencil icon next to your address.
My new card arrived - now what?
It’s important to activate your new card right away once it arrives. Replacement cards that are not activated within 90 days will be permanently closed. Once your new card is activated, the expired card should be destroyed.
