Within 60 days of your current Venmo Mastercard® Debit Card’s expiration date, you’ll be notified in your Venmo app that it’s time to request a replacement. For example, those with a card expiring 12/21 will be prompted to order a replacement at the beginning of November (11/21). Please note, cards expire on the last day of the expiration month.
You’ll then be able to request your new card by tapping the in-app notification or going to the “Venmo Debit Card” section of the app.
If you haven’t used your current Venmo Debit Card, you may be prompted to complete a transaction before a new card can be issued.
If you’ve moved since receiving your most recent card, you can update your shipping address by tapping the pencil icon next to your address.
It’s important to activate your new card right away once it arrives. Replacement cards that are not activated within 90 days will be permanently closed. Once your new card is activated, the expired card should be destroyed.
