There is an issue with a payment from your Venmo account. In good news, the receiver got the money, but we weren’t able to get the funds from your bank account.
Because we couldn’t get the money from your bank, your Venmo account now has a negative balance, and your Venmo account is frozen. This means that you will not be able to use your Venmo account. Unfortunately, your account will remain frozen until the negative balance is resolved.
To determine the amount owed and pay the negative balance, you have several options:
- Open the Venmo app and make a payment
- Log into venmo.com/recover from a computer
- Call us at 888-674-2540
If you have any questions, please contact us at 888-674-2540. We're available Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
If you have already resolved the negative balance, please ignore this notification
Thank you,
Venmo Collections
