What is a Teen Account?
Have you ever wanted to use Venmo? Well, today's your lucky day! Venmo now offers a Teen Account, created by your parent or guardian, for anyone that is 13-17 years old when the account is created.
The Venmo Teen Account has features like:
💳 Venmo Teen Mastercard(R) with your name on it
📱 The option to use the Venmo app to send and receive money and track the Teen Account balance
💰 Got a job? Set up Direct Deposit to get your paycheck into the Teen Account balance
What can I do with the Teen Account?
There are a few cool things you can do with the new Teen Account.
🤑 Use the teen debit card to make purchases or get cash at the ATM
💸 Send money to your friends and family in the app
✅ View transactions and the Teen Account balance in app
💰Get money from a paycheck or otherwise directly deposited into the Teen Account balance
Keep in mind that some of these things will only be available if your parent or guardian provides you with app access.
What are the limits?
Venmo Teen Account has different limits depending on if your parent or guardian provided you with app access or not.
