How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your Venmo account by clicking “Cancel my Venmo Account” at the bottom of your Profile section when logged in from a computer. Currently you cannot cancel your account from the mobile app.

When you log in to venmo.com/account/sign-in from a computer you can edit your account settings by clicking “Settings” on the left side of the website.
If you’re using the Venmo app on your mobile device, you can edit your account settings by tapping on the ☰ icon at the top of the app and selecting “Settings."

How do I opt into/out of location services for Venmo?
Location preferences are unique to your device and can be updated by navigating to your device’s Settings. For more information, we recommend checking the instructions for your particular device and operating system.
Keep in mind that sharing your location with Venmo enables us to provide a better overall experience when you use the app. If you choose not to share this information, however, you’ll still be able to use Venmo to send and request money.

Venmo will only collect location information when you’re using the Venmo app, and we use this information to help create a great app experience. Sharing location information helps us increase security, improve search results, provide location-specific offers, and more.
