What do I do if there’s unauthorized activity on my Venmo Credit Card?
To report any unauthorized transactions with your Venmo Credit Card, please reach out to Synchrony Bank at 855-878-6462. Synchrony agents are available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you would like to temporarily disable your physical card for any reason, you can do so in the Venmo Credit Card section of your Venmo app. You can return to the same section when you are ready to re-enable your physical card.
While your card is disabled, authorizations will be blocked on the physical card. You may still use your virtual card online or send money and make purchases within the Venmo app. Please note that pending transactions that were authorized prior to disabling your card may still complete.
I need to replace my virtual Venmo Credit Card number
If you need a new virtual card number for your Venmo Credit Card, go to the Venmo Credit Card section of your Venmo app and tap Request new virtual card number. Once you get a new virtual card number, the old virtual card number will no longer work. Please note: You can only replace your virtual Venmo Credit Card number once every 24 hours.
