I need to replace my physical Venmo Credit Card
If you need to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged Venmo Credit Card, you can do so in the Venmo app:
- Go to the Venmo Credit Card section of the Cards tab
- Tap Replace lost, stolen, or damaged card
The app will walk you through reporting any unrecognized transactions, confirming your address, and will get you in contact with our partners at Synchrony Bank, if needed.
If you’d rather speak with someone over the phone about your lost, stolen, or damaged card, our partners at Synchrony Bank are able to assist. To reach them, please call the support number on the back of your Venmo Credit Card (855-878-6462). They are available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
I want to get a new virtual card number for my Venmo Credit Card
For peace of mind, if your virtual card number is compromised, or if you’d like a new one, you can request a new virtual card number in the Venmo Credit Card section of your Venmo app. You are limited to one request per every 24 hours. Requesting a new virtual card number will deactivate your previous virtual card number. It will not affect your physical card number.
I want a new PIN for my Venmo Credit Card
If you forgot or haven’t set your PIN for your Venmo Credit Card, you can begin that process by reaching out to Synchrony Bank at 855-878-6462.
If you know your PIN, you can change it at any time by calling 855-820-5806. You need to know your current PIN in order to change your PIN via this phone number.
I need to update the billing information on my Venmo Credit Card

I want to request a credit line increase
You can request a credit line increase for your Venmo Credit Card by contacting Synchrony Bank at 855-878-6462. Some cardholders also have the ability to request a credit line increase in the Venmo Credit Card section of the Venmo app.
Requesting a credit line increase will not result in a hard inquiry on your credit. Your request may be accepted, declined, or you may be given a lower credit line increase than requested. If your credit line request is denied or if you were given a lower amount than requested, you will receive a physical or electronic letter from Synchrony Bank explaining the decision within 7-10 business days.
I need to access the customer deceased notification form
To assist during this difficult time, Synchrony offers an online form to notify the Bank of the passing of a cardholder. The account record will be updated upon receipt of your submission. You can view and submit this form on Synchrony's website.
If you need assistance with the cardholder’s Venmo account, please contact our Support team.
